Why Are You Going To Community College? (Live The American Dream)

by Chad Agrawal

For over 100,000 students every year, attending community college is The American Dream.

Sounds crazy right? How is going to community college, or “the 13th grade” (as some students call it) the same as The American Dream that has served as an underlying ideal of our country for so long?

For some students, going to community college is the only option. They didn’t do well in high school and so now they are “forced” to go to community college…

While I don’t agree with community college being anyone’s only option – some students, nevertheless feel this way, but – for other students:

Community college is a bridge to opportunity.

Which is the whole premise of The American Dream, isn’t it? You have the opportunity to move yourself forward, to make progress, to build off of what has been given to you and create more for the generation to come…

By going to community college, you are given the same opportunity to improve your life now and in the future!

What you do with your opportunity is your choice because you’re in charge of you’re own life, just like The American Dream -

If you do not want a better life, the freedom to do as you please and to be accountable for your actions, you don’t have to live The American Dream and you can go live somewhere else…

But, if you open yourself up to opportunity, not only will you take advantage of more opportunities, but you’ll also start attracting more opportunity -

Don’t believe me? Good things come to those who are ready for it. I’ll prove it to you in the next post: 3 Ways To Make Community College Easy

Like I said, the choice is up to. How are you going to use the opportunity that you have right now? Tell us in comments below!
